Blue

Blue

BY Maggs Vibo

In these troubled times, we find our inspiration
A color shielding hope
A pony’s mane
Waving in the breeze
Calling us to the seas of tranquility
The womb
Don’t assume or call for help from another hue
In these moments, it’s just blue
A jazz tune
A monsoon
Of emotions and commotion
Galloping towards the tides
A herd of wild Corolla
Stampeding past a Shadow which eyes us
This time the youth will guide us
Towards the blue
The waves crashing
While we’re asking for salvation
And patience for the healers
Who wear blue to protect you
And you, too, can become healthy and
Reborn in blue
Not pale blue like
The Old Guitarist
Painted by Picasso, but the
Moon Blue
Sung by Wonder or the
Blue Abstraction
By O’Keefe
Offering flowers for the living,
And easy breathing
The you that will stand in this spot
A year from now
Even though hunkered down now
In these blues
You will be cheering for that blue
Each blue piece hold true
Lift up from sorrow
And take away the pains on tomorrow
You are a boron blue diamond
Shining from a vault
Or the bioluminescence from Waitomo
Glowing from the labyrinth
So that you can look up (look up!)
And transform into Leoncino
And ride your pony
Through millions of twinkling promises
In your YOUniverse
